Hobbies: Traveling, working out, stepping outside my comfort zone, hanging out with my nieces and nephew, and all things coffee. I am passionate about helping others discover their voice. As I like to say, "I don't want to be a voice for those in recovery, I like to help those in recovery find their voice.” I am also passionate about figuring out we "market" recovery and not just treatment.

Bio: My work in the recovery field began by volunteering at Minnesota Recovery Connection where I was encouraged to go through training to become an advocate for recovery and a Peer Recovery Specialist. I am actively involved with the Peer Service Alliance, and now work with NUWAY, as their Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. I also attended college to study Psychology at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
