October 10th is World Mental Health Day, a day to unite in our efforts to improve the mental health of people around the world. Mental health can be defined as your emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Your mental health affects how you feel, think and act. It can also impact how you interact with others and make decisions.

10 Ways to Improve Your Mental Health

There are steps that you can take to improve your mental health on your own. Here are some suggestions that you can implement today:

  3. Research healthy ways to deal with stress

  4. Stay active and exercise regularly

  5. Surround yourself with good people

  6. Do something for someone else

  7. Go to bed on time

  8. Avoid alcohol and drugs
