Recovree Working With Employers To Address Substance Use Disorder

Recovree’s mission is to help people find and maintain recovery from substance use disorder through peer relationships. Over the past year, we have shared the power of peer recovery coaches with anyone who would listen. By now, we hope you know that these professionals are scientifically proven to help improve recovery outcomes. They bring numerous benefits to people seeking recovery including empathy, resources and guidance.

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve discovered a new sector that is excited to connect with recovery coaches and has significant urgency - employers. Recovree now offers both its software AND recovery coaching services to companies that are in need of new resources, tools and services to support employees who are struggling with substance use disorder. The same software that has led to partnerships and collaborations with Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and the State of North Dakota’s Division of Behavioral Health, is now available for employers. Focusing on industries that have higher rates of substance use disorder including mining, construction and hospitality, we are providing on-demand access and support for employees.

Our goal in bringing services upstream and helping people who are still employed, live at home with their families and have supportive relationships, is to raise the infamous “rock bottom.” Instead of people reaching this place of despair and losing nearly everything, we hope to bring new tools and resources to help people find recovery sooner in their disease. Too often, people do not know where to turn for help and many people are paralyzed by the shame and stigma associated with substance use disorder.

Recovree works with employees to find recovery from addiction through an on-demand service that's available when people need help most. Traditional treatment services offered through employee assistance programs can take weeks to access. Employees are paired with a recovery coach within 24 hours of making contact with Recovree. The recovery coach immediately helps the individual navigate the early weeks of recovery, access resources and build new skills.
