Recovree Wins Inaugural Innovate Recovery Competition
NORTH DAKOTA GOVERNOR DOUG BURGUM AND FIRST LADY KATHRYN HELGAAS BURGUM PRESENT $50,000 PRIZE TO RECOVREE AT RECOVERY REINVENTED CONFERENCE IN FARGO, N.D.
FARGO, N.D., Sept. 5, 2018 - Recovery Reinvented, an ongoing series of innovative practices and initiatives to eliminate the shame and stigma of addiction in North Dakota, announced Recovree as its winner of the inaugural Innovate Recovery Competition. Recovree was awarded $50,000 at the second annual Recovery Reinvented Conference on September 5 at the Fargo City Civic Center presented by Governor Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn Helgaas Burgum.
Recovree is a software company that supports peer support specialists, the fastest growing service for people in recovery. With Recovree, substance use disorder treatment providers and organizations can better manage peer support specialist activities and receive full reimbursement for services performed. Peer specialists benefit from improved workflow and intervention tools, enabling them to be more efficient and deliver better care, and engaging in more meaningful conversations with their clients based on the rich data available in the platform.
Recovery Reinvented was founded in 2017 by Kathryn Helgaas Burgum. Leveraging her personal experience in recovery, Helgaas Burgum’s platform has helped convene and catalyze the North Dakota recovery community.
